Antoni Hernández-Fernández
Physicist, linguist and teacher
He holds a degree in Physics and Linguistics from the University of Barcelona (UB) and a PhD in Linguistics from the UB. Since 2008 he has been an assistant lecturer in Physics and Educational Sciences at the Institute of Educational Sciences (ICE-UPC) and part-time teacher of ESO and training cycles at the School of Art and Design of Terrassa since 1997.
His current research interests include education in a broad sense (gamification, project-based learning, technology education, etc.) and quantitative linguistics, i.e. the study of general patterns in communication systems, such as Zipf's law for word frequencies or Menzerath's law.
